Before the SafeGuard Child Seat was even built, SafeGuard engineers gathered anthropometric data on the dimensions, proportions, and ratios of the human body. Engineers used this information to develop digital 3-D replicas of children in states from 22-65 lbs.

Next, engineers used a virtual prototyping process to drastically improve the speed to market. By using this rapid prototyping process unlike any other child seat, we reduced the time from CAD modeling to a prototype part that engineers could hold in their hands in hours.
