The latest technologies in design, construction and testing were used to produce the "Most Advanced Child Seat." In order to address the problems of misuse, SafeGuard designed the seat from the inside out.
Before the SafeGuard Child Seat was even built, SafeGuard engineers gathered anthropometric data on the dimensions, proportions, and ratios of the human body. Engineers used this information to develop digital 3-D replicas of children in states from 22-65 lbs. |
Next, engineers used a virtual prototyping process to drastically improve the speed to market. By using this rapid prototyping process unlike any other child seat, we reduced the time from CAD modeling to a prototype part that engineers could hold in their hands in hours. |
