What is SafeGuard?
Federal regulations have undergone many changes in the last few years, including the implementation of Lower Anchors & Tethers for Children (LATCH). LATCH is an improved method of securing child safety seats into vehicles as an alternative to using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt.
IMMI has realized that LATCH changes everything. Due to the new regulations, child safety seats are installed more rigidly onto the vehicle seat. During the event of a crash, the loads and stresses the child safety seat experiences are much greater than in previous applications.
